Ideal for presentations!

I retired a computer that only had a DisplayPort video output and I have a DisplayPort KVM in my office. My new laptop has HDMI and USB-C. I connect it to USB-C and then plug in a display port cable and everything works great. I travel and often connect my laptop to any display in the conference room, and this thing fits in my pocket and allows me to connect anywhere with no fuss.

Excellent Customer Service

This worked fine for a few months, but then the HDMI connector died. Edit: upgraded to 4 stars. After I wrote the above, the seller contacted me and replaced the defective adapter. Replacement works great - customer service +!

Universal diagnostic tool for this IT professional

I often test monitors at work and this adapter makes it easy. I just plug it into my Nokia PureView 9 phone and connect the VGA and HDMI cables to the adapter. Testing dozens of monitors for their ability to produce an image couldn't be easier.

Doesn't work with VR headset

My Oculus Rift S is currently connected to the adapter and it doesn't seem to read that the dp port is connected when I download drivers for Oculus.
