Adds a high-speed Gigabit Ethernet port into PCI Express (PCIe) enabled computers. Supports crossover detection & auto-correction. Supports full duplex mode that doubles the network connection speed. Supports Wake On LAN (WOL) power management. Checksum and Segmentation Task-offload reduce CPU workloads for enhanced system response and network scalability. Automatic MDI/MDIX crossover at all speeds. Supports Flow Control, Layer 2 Priority Queuing, VLAN Tang and Jumbo Frames. LEDs indicate the Link/Activity status and 10/100/1000 Mbps

Highly Efficient Network Adapter

The SIIG Profile GigaLAN Adapter CN GP1021 S3 is an excellent addition to my computer.My analysis of this product showed that it performs exceptionally well, providing reliable and fast connectivity. The compact design of the adapter makes it easy to install, and the connection is stable and consistent. The only drawback is that it can get warm after prolonged USE. Overall, i would recommend this product to anyone looking for an affordable and efficient network adapter..

Great performance for the price

Does what I need and works perfectly. I bought this to upgrade to the home server's onboard NIC and the performance and reliability was noticeable within minutes. Considering the cost of a typical wired NIC these days, the best you can get is either Intel or SIIG, and unlike Intel, SIIG doesn't position itself above the home consumer market.
