I initially gave this unit a 5 star rating because of how it looked. I'm a reading specialist and was looking for something "cute" and aesthetically pleasing. However, it stopped working last week! I've only had it since January. I changed the battery twice to make sure it wasn't batteries and it would start ticking and then stop. Such a shame that I have to send it back. I hope I get my money back.

I ordered it for my mother as a gift for the New Year. Revain didn't pack it properly when shipped so it arrived completely broken. I was a bit relieved because when I pulled the watch out to inspect the damage it turned out to be very light and made out of cheap plastic on an outer frame that was a lot less durable than I expected. It's time to refresh my son's bedroom and I bought this wall clock. It looks great and is easy to put in! But I could still hear the mechanism in mine (unlike my other silent wall clocks), so I wish it was even better. Also, its frame (that is, as if it were made of wood) was stained with my dry fingers the other day when I checked them. The clock is cute. Bought for the playroom. The colors are beautiful, but more muted than in the product photo. There were a few minor scuffs on the curb, but not noticeable unless you look closely. The product looked good when it was taken out of the box. Cheap but the colors were good. Problems: 1. Hanging Hook: It comes with a completely useless hook and I spent about an hour of my time trying to figure out that it didn't work. 2. Weak wood fibers on the plastic fell off my hands when trying to hang it up.3. Works Slowly: It started to work slowly after a few days.
