The clock is cute but the sound squeaks

The clock is cute. Bought for the playroom. The colors are beautiful, but more muted than in the product photo. There were a few minor scuffs on the curb, but not noticeable unless you look closely. My big complaint is the squeaky noise it makes. According to the description, the clock is not ticking. Awesome because I hate the sound of clocks ticking. BUT here is the problem. Instead of ticking the second hand, it rotates. Endless. Round and round, it goes round and round. I've never seen a watch like this before. Instead of ticking, it makes a very faint drag sound when looped. I find it just as annoying as the ticking sound.
