Not Enough Instructions from Silhouette

I bought this to use my Silhouette 3 to cut leather for earrings. There isn't much information or guidance on how to use the blade. I had to cut through three times, adjusting the depth of the blade each time to cut through. It would be nice if the silhouette gave more hints on how to use it.

Pros
  • Easy Setup
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Clean lines good buy and great complement and price

I was a bit hesitant to order this thinking if it would fit or if I will need it?. I made a fairly simple drawing using my silhouette studio and went to paint. I was surprised how good it is and how sharp the drawing is without stuttering. The only thing that disappointed me a bit is that it doesn't take thicker markers but is great for thinner and watercolor pencils. Something to add to my collection when I want to make postcards or drawings

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • I will add later

works, but damn it's weird!

I have a Cricut Maker that also has a rotary fabric cutting blade. Both have a sharp feel and are good at cutting through fabric. But the way Silhouette decided to make it work is just insane. When it hits a sharp angle, the Cricut raises the blade, rotates it to the right angle, lowers it, and cuts. The silhouette lifts the blade, moves the cutting head into negative space, and cuts an arc there to rotate the blade to the correct angle. Then he raises the blade and moves to where he needs to…

Pros
  • Sturdy Surface
Cons
  • Damaged
