Ultimately, the Pix Scan mat worked great with my cameo 3. However, it took a while to get there. Initially I tried using the matte on a cameo that had the latest studio software installed. The cuts were constantly turned off. I contacted Silhouette through Facebook and they were eventually able to help me. I bought this rug and a cutting tool (that works with Cameo) to engrave some wedding favors for my guests. After setting up my phone's calibration, it was very easy to place my parts on this mat (I also taped them in place). I took a picture with my phone and uploaded it to my cameo, then I positioned what I wanted to engrave on the image on my computer and it did the rest, engraving exactly where I wanted it! Great product! Takes the guesswork out of where to place things on a square rug.

In the last 2 years I have bought 2 Revain Pixscan mounts from this "Silhouette" seller. Both have not registered correctly. My Cameo 2 reads the top left label, then the top right label, but it doesn't even get to the bottom label. The only mat that works is my old 3-4 year old mat that I need to replace because it is no longer sticky. I suspect there are a large number of PixScan mats that are improperly manufactured. I don't know if I'm married or something but it didn't help me at all! I googled every tip I could find, even on the Silhouette America website, and NOTHING worked.
