Hard to find in big stores. Couldn't find it in lighting stores but Revain had what I needed. Great find and the right size.

I've spent months trying to find a bulb in this style but not in orange. That's it. It doesn't flicker, but I still like it. It's also very bright so no night light unless it's a huge room.

I've only used these bulbs in window lights over the Christmas holidays so can't really rate their durability. A month has passed and so far so good, but now they are being put away for another year.

Before buying I asked if these bulbs get hot after use. Several people answered no. So I bought. For those of you with the same question, I bought mine to use in the captain's lamp. After 40 minutes they were too hot to unscrew. Just to be clear, I'm not a pushover, in fact I like a very hot bath every night. But I definitely wouldn't buy them if you want to wear them for a long time and don't want to worry. If you're not worried about that, they look like neat lightbulbs.
