Decent cables at a reasonable price

I assemble lithium batteries myself for various purposes. I use 20 or 22 gauge silicone wires for the balance wires and smaller wires like this for the charge wires. Typical of silicone wires, they are very flexible. They appear to be of decent quality. I have no problem soldering these wires to the XT90 and Bullet connectors. Unlike other silicone wires I've purchased, they are not fixed. The black and red wires on them are connected together like lightning bolts. This may or may not be…

  • Very expensive

Quality wire is expensive.

I have a growing collection of solar panels so I always need a cable and it fits. It is well made, durable and very flexible. Suitable for long runs because it is thicker. Can't find anything wrong with that. One annoying thing is that they keep calling it 40 feet by adding the length of the two wires together. This is Miss Leads, to say the least. All wires, regardless of the number of chains, are sold by the foot, no one stacks each chain together when paired or spliced together. I didn't pay

Many cable offers, do your homework

Summary: Use them to extend the solar panel for optimal placement. Observations: The silicone case is soft and breaks easily. Generally, with the previous two wires I used, you can separate the wires by pulling them apart, but doing so with this one will break the sheath. You need to use a very sharp knife and CAREFULLY cut out the center. I added a piece of shrink tubing to also prevent it from splitting further. Recommendations: When it comes to cables, here are a few considerations: 1) The…
