Silicone doesn't mean it doesn't need greasing. I used the bare minimum of oil to grease them for the cupcakes and was still surprised at how easily they popped out. This company is amazing. These mugs are great and do the job. I bake a lot and it has worked. I have to thank them for their customer service though. My set only had 11 instead of the usual 12 cups. I contacted the company website and they got back to me straight away through Rachel. She was very sorry for the confusion and asked for my address so she could send me a replacement. A few days later there was not only a replacement in front of my door, but a dozen new mugs with a handwritten note!
