Silicone doesn't mean it doesn't need greasing. I used the bare minimum of oil to grease them for the cupcakes and was still surprised at how easily they popped out. Also, they are rigid enough to be used without a cupcake pan. They came with a fabric storage bag, but that strikes me as a bit strange. Maybe a plastic tube would have been better, but maybe it wouldn't have matched their views on the environment. However, the bag can be used for other things if you don't want to store your bakeware in it.
