Does not absorb detergent

They can be cleaned but do not absorb detergent/soap making greasy dishes difficult to clean. The soap only drips and does not foam. We used a lot more soap than previous sponges. Generally disappointment, and now we have a whole pack of them left.

Falling apart quickly

I like the idea with sponges but they started falling apart after just a week of use. I started seeing small pieces of sponge fall off and then clog the siphon in the kitchen sink even more. This is NOT a good idea unless you want to contaminate your water with fine particles or clog your sewage system.

It is very difficult to make foam. Good for pans but difficult to use in cutlery.

I was very disappointed that I couldn't easily get the foam onto the sponge. When used on pots and pans that may still have some water on them, it works well. I hope that over time it doesn't smell as bad as other sponges. Still good for a week. Can't take criticism. This is good for not smelling, but makes it difficult to use on cutlery.

Softer and Better Holding Liquid Dishwashing Detergent

I think this silicone sponge is better than another brand I've bought. It's much softer when you first use it. Compared to another brand that gets stiff at first and then softens after a few days, but this one is getting softer and I think it holds detergent better too. Silicone sponge smells different than regular sponges. I can't say anything about durability yet.

BEST. SPONGE. JE.

Those great sponges! I was fed up with how quickly ordinary sponges stink and become disgusting, so I started looking for alternatives. Luckily I found her! They hold dish soap well enough to wash dishes effectively, but rinse and dry ridiculously quickly and leave them smelling fresh (ie: not smelling at all). I've used two for several weeks and both are still like new. Ordinary sponges start smelling after a week or so, so you've already survived this one. I will definitely keep buying these.
