New needle design – increases map visibility. New baseplate design – allows thumb contact with map. Thicker baseplate material – withstands tougher conditions. Smaller capsule – decreases risk of volume changes due to temperature variation which leads to less risk of “bubbles”. New Spectra graphics – more transparency increases map visibility.

Not Reliable enough for Camping

I was not thrilled with this product .It was supposed to help me navigate while camping, but it didnt work as expected. My experience with this compass was a nightmare and i wouldn't recommend it to any sports and outdoors enthusiasts. The only upside is that it is affordable compared to other options on the market. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice I immediately noticed the flaws in the product. Overall, I would say pass on this and look into other options for your camping needs..

Efficient Navigation Tool

The Silva Race 360 Compass Left is a game changer for anyone into Sports and Outdoors! Its quick and precise readings, combined with its clear, easy to read housing, make it a breeze to use and trust when out hiking and camping. The only downside is that it is a bit bulky, which may take some getting used to for those who are used to smaller, lighter compasses... But the precision and accuracy more than make up for this minor inconvenience. Highly recommend!

A large air bubble formed, seller does not guarantee

Worked very well for about a year then an air bubble formed which continued to grow making it unusable. The seller does not respond to requests for compliance with the two-year warranty.
