I took it for two reasons. I have a case (NZXT Vulcan) that doesn't have USB 3.0 ports on the front or top. I also have an SSD in addition to several hard drives. This is a solid and well-made adapter that fits through a hole in a 3.5" floppy drive enclosure. It can install two 2.5-inch hard drives and also has two USB 3.0 ports on the front. For older cases made before the advent of the USB 3.0 standard, this is the perfect match. It fits perfectly on my Antec NSK 3480 case and looks like the USB plug slides into the socket on the motherboard and is easy to remove.
