SilverStone Tek 750W Gold 80 Plus Power Supply with Flat Black Cables and Quiet Fan Curve SST-ET750-G, Fixed Cable Design Review

Thanks to a guy who loves KFC, we now have absurd tariffs that make the adapter so expensive. Ideally I'd buy a Corsair RMx, but at $40 less I don't feel like I'm missing out much. Flat power cables make it easier to manage non-modular cables when you bundle them. The fan is almost silent, my AIO GPU makes more noise than the silent one. This is a B-level listing on the PSU tier list so I'm confident in its 80 Plus Gold rating and stability, but will report any update if anything goes wrong.

I upgraded the graphics card in my Dell XPS 8700 desktop to use the Vive HMD so upgrading the PSU was a good idea. This 750W power supply has exactly the same form factor as the original and plugs directly into it. The fan is quiet, the build quality is top-notch, and the ribbon cables work well. I am very happy that I chose the Silverstone Tek line.

Imo's top 3 PSU manufacturers are Seasonic, FSP and Channel Well. The channel did well. The first two are top notch. They sell power supplies under their own name and also manufacture them for other companies. It's not the canal. Only do them for other companies. You should look online for reviews of who makes them if they are from a company like Silver Stone or Corsair etc. This power supply has good reviews, but other models are better. It did exactly what I bought it to do. I wasn't a big fan of all the cables already running through the power supply itself, but it worked and was packaged very well. No questions.

Overall works great. It wasn't modular so it was difficult to install. Calm. Good quality. It felt like the value was there for what we paid for it.

Silverstone have quality products, I was not disappointed when I ordered this in place of another branded product which was out of stock.
