My kids are heavy hydrators and don't usually have any issues with this brand, but the thin pads that come with the special pads don't fit.

They are cute and comfortable for my baby. The clasps are strong and adjustable. The material feels really comfortable. So YES, it is!

They have a very nice design but they are not absorbent at all. One of my baby's pees and I'd rather change it or he'll get wet. Good thing I bought the actual absorbent pads separately to use with them, otherwise they wouldn't be useful to me.

They have a little more room in the crotch so my little man is comfortable even when I double up the sleep pad and the little stretch polyurethane tabs in the lining around the legs to help keep things in the diaper. I use them with bamboo inserts. The supplied inserts are not even suitable as additional padding (too thin).
