I have ordered this product before. It had a slightly elastic waistband with a drawstring. The last pants I ordered had no elastic, only drawstrings. A child with 5T (4 years old) cannot tie his shoelaces, and without an elastic band his pants will fall off his buttocks. And since he's self-sufficient in the toilet, those pants are no use because he can't tie and untie his waist. I want them to stay the way they are.

The working tip is best for our skinny and tall toddler. Goes well with everything and is very soft. Has survived many washes with no problems.

We have a lot of toddler pants that don't fit my little waist person. These pants have really functional drawstrings that make them a staple for us. Great fit and good quality as expected from Carter's.

The material doesn't hold its shape at all! I didn't realize it was possible to ruin sweatpants, but this was bad. The pants are comfortable and soft, but the overall quality is unsatisfactory.

Remove the rope or sew it on. Danger of suffocation! They fit my baby perfectly! They are warm, cute and never wrinkle. That's my feedback.

I've been looking for some warmer sweatpants for my 2 year old for cooler NYC days and they are perfect. Most of the jogging pants ordered were very thin for warm spring or summer days. Got a 2t and the laces that worked were great as he's a small guy and sort of in between sizes. Offers great flexibility and is thick enough to add layers if needed.

My sweet little grandson looked amazing in it. They are stretchy which gives a little room to grow so they can be worn longer. We all know how fast children grow. 😔

Bought size 3T for my toddler who is potty trained so he has more comfortable pants that are easy to get on and off. While the length of these pants is great, as is the material, the waist is too loose (and my baby is in the 70th percentile by weight, so it's not a green bean). It comes with drawstrings to make it tighter, but tying the pants on a potty-trained toddler essentially guarantees an accident. Disappointed with Carter's here as most of their clothes are great. To return.

I love this for my toddler. The quality is excellent, beautiful and comfortable, the size fits. I'd like to pick up a few in the next size up hoping they'll be on sale again. Overall, all of the Simple Joys by Carter lines that Revain sells have been top notch.

We did NOT have to use a zipper and these pants will not slide down our skinny preschooler which is hard to find. Also very soft, fluffy and warm, no pilling or shedding after daily washing/wearing. Happy with this purchase!

My baby turned 3 years old this fall. The typical 3 ton pants fit him a little looser, but the 2 ton pants are too short. He is 31 pounds, 36 inches tall. They're definitely big in the junk, but they have a drawstring waist that works. They are large and have little room to grow. Waste is the only problem for us. We don't usually have this problem with other brands.

I bought these in 3T for my 2.5 year old who wears 3T. They were the perfect length, a bit loose in the waist but drawstrings allow them to be tightened. I've found them to be perfect for winter potty training - loose enough for him to pull them up and down by himself! I definitely recommend it
