Size 8 was too big for my average 6 year old grandson and little 8 year old. But 6 years. the old man is still wearing trousers. You will grow into them.

It wasn't until I opened them that I realized the top was cotton and the bottom was fleece. I thought it was a fleece kit which I was afraid would be too hot. The combination of fabrics is the perfect combination! My son is not hot at night. AMAZING quality. Highly recommended!

I remember buying them at a great price. The pants are a little loose at the waist and the shirt fits tighter as described. But overall it's very good!

They fit my baby, don't drown him. The pants are nice and short and fluffy and have a looser fit, which he prefers. Gives him a little more room to grow, so it should last quite a while. Washes well, retains colour, shape and softness.

They are soft and seem very comfortable. The legs are a little long for my son as they aren't tight at the corners but we bought a size up so it's more for use than pajamas. :)

Pants and shirts seem to be different sizes. The shirts fit great and the pants are huge! Too long and fall. I had to make some adjustments.

I understand why they were so cheap now in their heyday. The shirts are tiny and I have a skinny little boy. Size 3T will probably even fit 2T. I bought hoping for colder winter months. It doesn't even fit in now, and that rune? SO itchy and awful

They remind me of the usual Carter's brand. I also like the quality of the fleece better, after many washes it wasn't that rough anymore. Very happy with them

These pajamas are amazing. They are so soft the drop is amazing. everything in it. My grandson will be a cat meow lol. That's my feedback!

Size 7 for 5 years long waist, usually wear 5-6. Air dry after cold wash. Minimal shrinkage. Cotton upper for a snug fit, perfect for length and width. The bottom straight fleece legs were too long even for a size 7. I sewed/cropped the legs 4.5 inches and cropped the hem-waist 3/4 inches on both sides. Quality of the fabric, colors, graphics are excellent. I would have preferred a full fleece set with piping around the ankles but this Carter pajama set is still very good.

Comfortable pajamas for late autumn and winter. Good quality, withstands frequent washing without losing color and shape.

It's not as advertised. It should also be cotton with fleece pants. However, the trousers are made of flannel material and are thin.

Got these for a little boy I "adopted" for Christmas, I think he will love them for how soft and cozy they feel. The delivery was very quick.

These pajamas are definitely not for older children. My son is not overweight, he is just a big kid. Big muscular hips and arms etc. So it was a bust size although I ordered a few sizes up. But the print is cute!

While the pajamas were soft and cute, the shirts were tiny and barely stretched. Not sure if the t-shirts were the wrong size but I had to return them. Otherwise they would be a good pajama set.

These are not thick fleece pants. I bought them for a ski vacation and they are useless. They look like thicker erosions of cotton tops. Fleece is fleece and Carters definitely has fleece pants. However, this is NOT the same for $20.

Pants were not fleece. They were very light. I previously ordered 2 sets of these and the pants were much thicker. Very disappointed.

Bought for my 5 year old nephew. These pajamas are tight and I bought them a size 6 which would fit but if I were to buy again I would buy a size 7.

These fit well. My son is tall but not wide so a lot of pants have to be rolled up or sewn in. Medium thickness, warm, very soft after washing.
