PRO: After a few drops and dents in the base of my Hydro Flask, it no longer sits upright. Now with download, it's fixed! It's also quieter if you lower it. Fits perfectly like a glove. CONS: Arrived a day late which makes it much harder to slide the bottle in and out of my pack's side pocket due to friction and thickness, dirt/lint/debris sticks to it like a magnet.

I like this much more than the branded hydroflask boot. It's thicker, absorbs shock better, and doesn't have a hole in the bottom. Pros of not having a hole: Now I always have the option to share water with my service dog no matter where we are or what we're doing. You NEED this if you have a 64oz iron water bottle (maybe other brands but I don't know how well it matches other brands). it COMPLETELY deadens the sound the bottle makes when lowered and protects it from scratches and dents. I was very reluctant to buy a silicone boot for what I thought was an expensive water bottle. I'm so glad I did. The black boot sits very well on the bottle and looks really good with the design. It has proven to be a lot stronger than I thought it would be, fits in the bottle easily (but doesn't slip off) and is very easy to remove and clean.
