I take my bottle to meetings, the gym, the bedroom, etc. and I hate putting it on the floor when I'm trying to be quiet in a meeting to be and the metal clangs loudly. This little boot not only blocks out the noise, it also protects my butt from the daily wear and tear I wear to the gym or toss in the car after work. I even bought another one for my 64 ounce pitcher which has a small dent on the bottom and is wobbly. It stabilizes the pitcher and naturally muffles the sound. Great quality, great product that I didn't know I would need.
