This is a very good bed sheet - looks and feels like real linen. I've washed it a couple of times and it comes out fine - I haven't noticed any shrinkage (it's a very large size; I use a king size sheet on a calcium mattress so it's a little wider than I need). A little wrinkled of course as it is linen. Very cool and comfortable for sleeping. Excellent, especially for the price and the ability to buy just one sheet.

This review is difficult to write as I made 2 different purchases of the same item and got different results. First I ordered a linen sheet and I liked it. After washing it was stretchy and the perfect thickness for the warm and humid climate I live in. I liked the large size so it doubles as a bedspread and top sheet. At first I thought they weren't 100% linen because they are so stretchy. However, after I washed them, the fabric tightened a bit. I still have to hem them and make buttonholes for the back but I'm very happy with it. They are just over a month old. They let in enough light, but still enough privacy at night. I love this sheet. This is a real luxury in its softness, smooth texture, beautiful lining and embroidery on the top. I ordered a queen size but could do with a full size as it is a very generous queen. I suppose you could say linen is an acquired taste. This is definitely not a permanently pressed, freshly ironed dress straight out of the bag. It will soften as it is washed, dried and even smoothed and straightened by hand.
