What initially looked like the best paper towel dispenser unfortunately turned out to be wrong. The product lasted 2 months before the plastic piece connecting the arm broke completely. Not the quality I expected or paid for. A simple man can do better. Disappointed with the company and no option to exchange a broken or defective item.

So very disappointed with this paper towel dispenser. Ordered for our camper, unpacked and quickly packed into the camper for the trip. I ignored it and charged it then wondered why it was tearing the towels. Upon closer inspection I noticed that the top of the tension rod was serrated metal and compared to the picture the tension arm cover and the rectangular/oval piece of metal that held the towels was completely missing. I bought one of these a few years ago. I liked it. When the arm broke I immediately ordered another one. The design has changed, and not for the better. By cutting corners I suspect to keep costs down. I wish they had increased the price instead. Differences between old and new: - The new one is over 100 grams lighter. I weighed both on a kitchen scale. The old ones are on the table and don't move. The new one has legs and wobbles. The old arm has a double support. The new one has a single arm.

I use double roll Bounty paper towels. I have used the Oxo Good Grips paper towel holder for the past decade and have replaced it twice over the years. I saw ATK and they reviewed it and that was a winner. It has a large base and takes up more desk space, but that's the only downside for me. The build quality of this paper towel holder is fantastic. It has a wonderful tension arm that allows you to tear the paper towel to the length you want.
