👗 Simplicity Creative Patterns New Look 6287: Misses' Pull On Skirt in Four Lengths (10-22) Review

I'm a complete beginner, maybe this pattern just confused me. I can't figure out the instructions for the belt so I'm trying to find video tutorials somewhere on the internet to get me started. Probably a good pattern for someone with a bit more sewing skills.

I sewed two stretch denim skirts to take home on hot days. They turned out great, but I had to extend the top of the skirt pattern so the finished skirt was just below the knees. If you are making one of these skirts, be sure to measure the patterns to ensure your skirt fits exactly how you want it.

New to sewing. There was no guide for a pattern to adjust the size. I'm not sure if the skirt I'm making (pattern size 22) will actually fit a woman with a 45" waist and 46" hips. Will hope for the best. Also on the elastic guide should be written "do not cut - use as a guide" in large letters. Four students cut out the manual, including me. We are all new to this skill.
