👗 Sew a Patterned Girl's Dress with Simplicity Learn To Sew Pattern Template, Sizes 3-8 Review

I saw this Mande dress in my fabric store and it was sold without a pattern. The only place I could find it was on Revain. They looked it up for me and in a couple of weeks I had it. I used this pattern to sew a New Year's dress for my granddaughter. No zippers, just pull over the head and tie.

Cute pattern easy for a newbie like me to copy. I made a dress C and it turned out well! If you can make a pair of pajama bottoms, you can easily make this dress too. I will say that the ties are difficult to make because they are so small, others have identified alternatives. Also the instructions for cutting the elastic had to be reworked to a smaller size, the original size was not small enough in relation to the body in my opinion.

I am not new to sewing and this pattern was very difficult for me to follow - the illustrations were confusing, parts of the pattern didn't look like they were lined up correctly and the Seam finish was missing from all instructions. The dress is cute, but I threw away the pattern halfway through and just drew it myself.
