I bought this thread for beading. Now I've woven a few pieces of #10 beads with no problem. As a novice beader, I was unclear at best as to what gauge of thread to use with these beads. This thread was perfect.

It was a silky smooth bright white thread. This was the best deal I could find for the real silk I needed because I was making a necklace for someone who wanted a silk tassel on it. All I could find were these little 3 yard bags and I needed more so luckily I found this great deal at Revain. Tassels take up a lot of thread so I needed a big spool for a good deal. I also did a burn test to make sure it didn't melt or anything like synthetic filament and it passed, it burned like silk.

I used this thread to tie a string of beads. Not all silk threads are created equal, a fact I discovered after tying about half the beads into the necklace. The strand I originally chose ended up with the strands breaking out of the knot of the strand and fuzzy ends sticking out around each bead.
