Works for 2-Pin CFL with GX23 Base: 13w Single Tube; and GX23-2 Base:13w Quad Tube. Flame Retardant PBT, Phosphor Bronze.100-250V workable,Physically change the contact and socket, DON'T Change any voltage. All pin-based CFL, like GX24Q G24 GX23 G23 are lamp-ballast separated, but all screw-in E26 E27 are lamp-ballast integrated. ballast is a must to start a high voltage(600V-1500V 1ms) to light up the CFL, but it is dangerous for LED Lamp. Because LED Lamp are built with LEDs and Driver which is transforming the 100-240V AC to DC for LEDs. So the LED Driver input should be 100V-240V or 85-265V, so 600-1500V will be too high, and easily destroy the l. Let there be light! 🌞

These little adapters have changed my life a lot along with my kids! They say it's the little things in life, and in this case. WOW! I have endured dim lighting in the kitchen and 1/2 bathroom with old lightbulbs for too long which is unacceptable to say the least! Thanks to these great adapters and long lasting LED light bulbs from Costco, who had a great $4 coupon (turn on Costco!), my home just isn't the same anymore, it's WAY brighter! 🌞 And it was SO easy and cheap! Works best with wall outlets

I moved into an apartment with two GX23 fluorescent tubes that flickered and made noises like I was watching a horror movie for the first five seconds. . Since it's not worth suddenly converting an apartment to something more logical just to be able to use LED bulbs, I thought I'd try to find an adapter for the GX23 that would turn it into a standard socket used by all bulbs becomes. Works well, only compatible with GX23 dual-tongue CFL base (not single-tongue CFL base)

I bought 4 packs and they all worked fine. Great quick fix to switch from CFL to LED. Gravel removal is not difficult in DIY projects. I used it on a recessed CFL light. If you want to beautify the look you can add an LED retrofit kit (the downside is you have to replace the entire kit if the bulb burns out) or you can get a new finish/housing to match the size/type. the lightbulb you intend to use (and then in the future you will have to buy a lightbulb of the same size if it burns out).
