The first person who came had a cracked lid - a problem with the packaging. Replaced Revine, no problem. Correct, they sent it in a different padded envelope, the envelope is quite scratched but at least not broken. As for the overall quality of the product - it's made in such a way that the lid doesn't click or snap. So if you drop a box full of coils, the lid will open and the coils will fly out.

Sized to fit Singer Type 15 bobbins but will not snap to stay closed. There are no locking or fasteners in the construction. I had to resort to a rubber band to keep the lid closed to keep the bobbins and threads from getting tangled in the sewing bag. The plastic doesn't seem very strong or durable. It just feels like brittle plastic. Handle it carefully, otherwise it may crack or break. Expect more from something from the SINGER brand.

I work with different types of yarn so I have a lot of bobbins. These boxes are easy to label and see at a glance. By price. I think this is the best I've tried. Personally, I liked them even better when they didn't have flip-tops. Just because I find them a little harder to close. But now that they have hinged lids they're easier to open and make it less likely that you'll spill the whole box by pulling the lid off, so I guess that's the bright side of the coin.
