This is what a sewing needle should look like.

Love love LOVE these long needles. I was so annoyed that the little ones got lost in the fabric and stuck to me. I see it and get no sticks.

Pros
  • High test scores for hold and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as the others

Very poor quality, clumsy fabric

These pins are terrible. Ball heads are good, at least they stay on the pin. BUT the metal pins themselves are not smooth and stick to the fabric. If you run your nails along the bar, you can feel that they are covered with pits. Many pins have problems with the point and do not go into the fabric smoothly.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

Very big pens! for Sewing Machine Parts and Accessories

When I think of quilting needles, I think of super thin, small and sharp needles. These pens are heavy, long pens. I found a worthy use for them. I have a design board for my quilts on my wall that I made out of pink insulation sheets covered with quilted batting. I like to use the board when stretching the fabrics, gathering them with the backing, batting and quilted bodice. These pens are perfect for the task! Small pins bend and are hard to see, but these pins are strong.

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide
