First let me say, don't try to compare this product to the $2000.00 espresso maker I see so many reviews about. In trying to do this online I used an induction cooker set on 400 which is a really low temp and it took about 4+ minutes which I recommend, a higher temp results in a faster brew but with faster extraction like jet stream both and low temperature is best for me. great product great price PS: Keep in mind it only makes about 8 ounces and I cheated a bit to get that.

The glass jug is unique. I had fun showing his work to my friends and they loved the finished product! Makes an amazing cup of coffee. The stainless steel in this kettle appears to be of excellent quality. I have noticed that many available stainless steel pots have an awful cheap metal smell when in use. (I dumped filtered water through the others, they smelled so good I didn't even TRY to make coffee - blkchh.) This kettle doesn't smell, give off gas, or make a chemical-tasting cup of coffee.

I ordered this product because I bought a similar product from my local Marshall but the size of an elephant so I ordered the exact same pot but smaller. Unfortunately it doesn't work consistently, I would say 70/30 times. I love that it's made of stainless steel and has a modern rather than classic design. The top appears to be made of high quality glass. Keep in mind that these are really espresso cup sizes, not American coffee cup sizes. It brews a small cup or two of delicious coffee in less than 5 minutes. Works on both gas and electric stoves.
