I currently have all Skar Audio products in my car. I've used many different brands since 2000. So far I am impressed with Skar Audio. I started with $399 - 3x 8" VVX3 subwoofers with 800.1 RMS amps and installed them in a ported box at 40Hz and 1 ohm. And they sound fantastic. My wife got me a 1200.1 amp for Father's Day and they hit even harder I have a Toyota Altezza 4 door sedan and the sound quality is amazing Recommend all their products

This was my first car amp in 17 years. They've probably all come a long way in that time, but I'm very impressed with how little heat comes out. This is probably overkill for a 1600 watt DVC Single 12 rated at 2 ohms. I use it at 1 ohm and about 30% gain and halfway on the remote. At 50% gain, the subwoofer voice coils get too hot. Clean bass output from a line-out converter connected in parallel with the factory subwoofer cable. I'll try it on two dozen and see which one sounds better.

I bought this amp which was listed as new when I asked for it to be hooked up at the auto repair shop. The installer told me that he goes in and out and that the screw holes for mounting the amp are where scratched as if it had been previously installed. Revain sold me an item listed as new when in fact it was a returned faulty product and the management team told me there was nothing they could do about it. This 1 ohm amp barely outperforms my 400 watt Alpine amp. It's connected to 4 gauge wires no more than 4 feet from the battery, which is reading 14 volts right now while everything is running. This distortion that is created is off the chart. Alpine reproduces crystal clear bass, while Skar distorts everything even at 25% gain. It's a sad experience. Even the ddx10d2 I got sounds terrible compared to my other subwoofers. I will say the Skar amp will be SLAM on the speaker with the kick bass but

I really like this amp. I don't think it's any better than my 300.1 mono kicker when it comes to recording bass parts in some songs, but it's really good. Powerful hit with my single 12" Kicker CVX and the bass control is always something I love turning off the bass when I see the police or it's getting late and I'm driving through your neighborhood or going somewhere to park you Dare. I wanted to use this amp as a replacement for nvx bda750.1. Despite having less power of more than 500 W, NVX absolutely surpasses the Skar rp1200 in terms of sound quality, especially in the deep bass. I'm not even talking about extremely low frequencies like 20Hz, this amp starts to cut off at around 35Hz and below. EDIT: I gave this amp another star because this amp works well and lasts a long time. I did not expect such processing quality from SKAR. I've been using it every day for (almost) the last 9 months, often at near full volume with everything vibrating and flexing, in combination with the ONE Sundown SA-12.
