The new device did not charge, it just alternated between red (charging) and green (charged) but turned off as soon as it was removed from the charger. The Skechers website is almost impossible to navigate and unhelpful for product support. Sent it back and looked for another option.

The first one received registered no activity. It worked well for kilometers and steps. I called the customer service lady and she was amazing. I was willing to prove the tracker was broken and she just said a new one would be in the mail and what color I wanted. I told my wife that the service was too basic. I didn't even argue.

I thought it would work great ever since I heard about the Skechers brand. But the app's design and features were outdated, and that's probably why it wasn't syncing properly. Sure, it looks pretty, but what's the point if it doesn't work properly. I returned it and got Misfit Flash: Misfit Wearables Flash - Fitness and Sleep Monitor (Black). I don't recommend that, spend your money on Misfit instead!

I ordered this because it was cheap just to test out the fitness tracker before spending a lot of money on it. It's ok, but nothing special. I use my treadmill primarily for exercise and it doesn't do very well unless I'm constantly swinging my arms while walking. It's supposed to track your sleep, but it doesn't do that very well either.
