One of the shoes didn't glow. Sent back but not yet received the second pair. My rating may change if this pair is ok. I used to order a pair for my other granddaughter and they worked well and were well made.

This is the first time I've ordered shoes for my child online. I was hesitant at first because some of the reviews said backlight issues, but I gave it a try anyway. First, both shoes fit us with no issues. I received the shoes a few weeks ago and both lightbulbs are still working and the shoes fit perfectly.

I join the chorus of those who say the light doesn't work. We got a work boot, a no, right out of the box, and yes, we tried the on/off switch. I gave three stars because otherwise they look like a good shoe - the working lights are pretty bright and fun and my daughter can easily put them on and off herself. She loves them very much and has decided to keep them so as not to have to wait for a new pair. But be careful, you might not get two work shoes.
