These are good quality shoes. I like them for the most part. However, unlike regular hard shoes, they have a padded back, which makes them difficult to put on without having to wrap the back around your foot with your finger. I am sixty years old and have back problems. I took one star because I had a hard time wishing them half a star, I would take a star and a half. If I use a shoehorn it's better, but I still have to use my toe probably 30% of the time.
