Skechers Men's Athletic Shoes: Escape Oxford in Vibrant Orange Review

I bought these shoes from Skechers and fell in love with them. After about a month I realized that I would be very sad when they finally wore out. So I found them here at Best Buy and bought 2 more identical pairs. My wife got into a fight, but I don't care. I'm set for a few years and when this first pair starts walking they will become my favorite river shoes.

This shoe is comfortable on the trail but lacks traction on wet hills. In the dirt, forget it. The shoe has no shape in the toe area as it broke the first time it was worn. Since they are not machine washable, you will live with the odor and dirt once you buy and use them. I need to buy a pair of WP trekkers again that I had before this pair. My husband loves these shoes. He walks on the outside edges of his feet so they support his ankles and feet. Helps prevent shoes from wearing out so quickly.

Outsole worn out within 5 months. I walk 3 miles a day 6 days a week on a smooth, paved trail. I've never had a pair of shoes that were this fast. Low quality.

I've been wearing these shoes for a few months now to walk my dog 3/4 each morning. You have good arch support. Even if my feet hurt from time to time from overexertion, I can keep walking because they absorb bumps and bumps, as well as shoes twice the price. Crate. I mainly use them for hiking. They fit well when I first put them on and after an hour they stretched too much. However, it is the right size for me. I sent them back :(

Good shoes, no big deal. But 3 days after purchase I found the same shoes at Sam's Club for less than half the price! So, moral of the story, keep an eye on the prices. Best Buy is convenient, but rarely the cheapest.

I was impressed when I discovered these shoes. I usually wear something more expensive like Oboz, Asolo, Kin but for the price these can't be beat. These shoes are great for walking or standing. Good arch support, a non-compressing toe box and good grip are the main qualities I'm looking for and this shoe delivers on all of these without breaking the bank.

Sketchers make pretty decent shoes and these Escape Plan fit and feel great. They come in quite a bit, which is nice, but I found they also provide great arch support (I have high arches) and resist external rotation (supination) quite well.
