Skechers make REALLY comfortable shoes

I've been looking for a pair of these black loafers since I wore out my old Rockfords years ago. For some reason finding the right ones was difficult; Either they would be too hard, the soles would be thin and smooth, or they would be angular and unattractive to me. I have a pair of lightweight Skechers running shoes that are very comfortable so I ordered them and was not disappointed. Durable yet soft, they can pass for dress shoes but have a nice grippy rubber outsole. Very happy with this…

Synthetic rubber upper

I was dying to get this pair as they looked great in the photos. However, when I received and tried mine on, I was disappointed that for the price, the upper was made of synthetic rubber that looked like leather. I think I didn't read the specs that closely. Then a quick walk through the bedroom, the edges of the soles dig into my soles. I thought they had braces or something in the package. This was important as I could easily buy real leather for less so I returned them to Revain using their…

Would buy again: Men's

I like these slip ons now that I'm older. and bending down to tie your shoelaces isn't as easy as it used to be. The memory foam inside also allows me to not use prescription arch supports, which is nice. As a side note, my experience with Sketchers shows that the foam on the inside wears out before the outside of the shoe, so I'll probably wear them for a year until the inside starts to disintegrate (and/or smell) and then throw them away. to "garden shoes" before investing in another pair of…

The heel comes out of the shoe

As these are slip-on shoes, nothing can prevent the heel from lifting if it is loose. The shoes look good and the sole is quite durable. They have a fixed insole like other sketchers I own, so you can't change the insole. I have fairly high arches so I'd rather replace them. I think if the shoes weren't too long they could have been taken off or the instep limited. Didn't return the shoes, never wore them, forgot them, then ordered them again. I'm sending the second pair back. The same design…

Great design, but fatal error - see update

Great casual shoe. even doubles as a slipper if you tend to run outside. The size is right, not very wide. Should last for many years. Looks good too. Update: This sole is slippery when wet. Very slippery! I can't drive with rain-soaked shoes because they slip off the clutch. These shoes slip on the rubber mat when wet.

Uncomfortable insoles

Earlier this year I bought a pair of Revain Sketcher shoes. Animators in the past and they were go-walks who also DJed. The shoes I bought were comfortable and looked good. I liked them so much that I bought two more pairs. I usually only wear them once a week so I don't wear them often. I took a pair on vacation and walked in them quite a bit and here's my problem: THEY ARE NOT COMFORTABLE FOR MY FEET. MORE LOWERS AND LIKE NOW NOT AS NARROW OR THICK AS MY HEADS. I'M TIRED TO GO TO MORNING…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Shoes at an AMAZING price for my super super WIDE friend! He loves her!

My husband has had the widest feet his entire life, which made shoe shopping a nightmare. Brooks is pretty damn unattractive and expensive, and I don't need to start with what Nike sometimes refers to as "WIDE". He probably wears a size 11 1/2 in real life but he had to buy a size 13-14 just because of the width and even then his shoes will never last long. Not sure how well they will hold up, but the style is attractive and they ACTUALLY FIT! They're a little tight, but he knows they'll loosen

Pros
  • Many will make it
Cons
  • Doubt
