I got these for $17 but I wouldn't pay more than $30 for them. I received light pink and the color is great. The only downside is that they get dirty very quickly. I had to take a damp washcloth and wipe the toe area after playing (crawling after) my baby on the floor. They can be worn with or without socks but I found them a bit more comfortable. As you can see from the picture, regular ankle socks look great with it, but it's no big deal.

It usually takes time to break in shoes, even running shoes. I took them out of the box, put them on and they felt comfortable right away! The back ankle and heel blister easily which is why I chose them with no show socks but I imagine these shoes are very comfortable worn alone. For the last 4 years I have bought Sketchers for work (on my feet all day). I love Sketchers for the memory/gel padding and breathability. These are decent but my previous pair was more comfortable.
