I was pleasantly surprised when I reviewed these shoes. Little did I know it had been over a year since I bought them. In general, these are good shoes. The soles on mine are very worn in a year but I'm very picky about shoes. Also, I walk a lot after I get home from work, and most of the time I walk at least a mile or more on sidewalks, paved paths, and dirt paths. For the price these shoes are very good. I'll buy another pair!

My husband is a police officer in the cycling department and these are the only shoes he buys for work. Every year we replace them with a new pair of the same shoes. I wore the same size 11 shoes which were good for the first few weeks but as the shoes stretched the size got a bit loose and I had to tie them tighter. This time I chose 10.5; While neat out of the box, I expect them to stretch and fit perfectly within a week or two of use. Memory foam is good, but enjoy it while it lasts.
