I stopped buying sketchers about 6 years ago because they always fall apart so quickly. I switched to a competitor brand and had great success, but my last pair only lasted 6 months. I just got them today and will update in a few months as they fall apart but these things work right out of the box! These shoes are built like brick houses! Strong seams in the right places. The protector also seems to be quite durable. I hope this lasts for a while. I plan to use them for my daily 4.5 mile runs so time will tell. However, memory foam out of the box is like walking on clouds! Super comfortable!

The product description of the Skechers Sport Stamina Nuovo Cutback Men's Lace Up Sneaker is incorrect. Skechers has two models: Stamina - Nuovo (50988) and Stamina - Cutback (51286). Honestly I've probably bought the same shoes 4 times. Since they released the memory foam insole my feet have stopped hurting and are back to normal. So I think they make a good impression. I bought the Skechers Sport Stamina Nuovo Cutback lace-up shoes for men on 1/13/18 and they fell apart. I didn't understand what I bought. Then on 10/27/18 I bought a Skechers boot.
