They are sooo comfortable. There was another pair of sketchers called Constructor 2 that lasted 3 years (see photo). It's $80. it's 34.99 and no less convenient. The toe area is large and roomy. The softest Gellinsol I've ever walked on. They aren't light, the only problem is that they make noise when walking indoors due to the aggressive profile. I have an office job but I go to weldment quality control every day and I feel 100% safe climbing and stepping on cars.

I wish I could give these shoes 5 stars because they've been my husband's most comfortable steel toe boots to date but the problem is they don't last long! A month after receiving it, the top line began to diverge, but for convenience. We thought we'd give them a chance. It's been 5 months and the sole came off and the top stitching came off too. Now 9-5-19 I bought them on June 27th and the left shoe is falling apart. I only wear them to work on weekdays. Not only that, the internal memory foam shifted almost immediately and now has multiple holes. I expect a lot more from a top brand like Skechers. My Walmart work shoes lasted much longer. Not sure if it was just a defect in one boot as the right one isn't falling apart. Very disappointed.

MONEY RELEASE! I only wore these shoes for 90 days. After about 30 days the memory foam inserts fell apart so much it had through holes that were painful to walk on so I spent another 20.00 on gel inserts. Now the plastic cuff has come loose from the lining and is scratching the Achilles tendon. After the insoles and the price of the shoes, I spent almost $100 to have them useless to me after just a few months. Do yourself a favor and buy yourself last year's Red Wings.
