I read some reviews before buying. It doesn't smell at all, which several people have complained about. It can chafe if you massage it too hard. If you do it in gentle circular motions, it perfectly exfoliates, leaving the skin very soft. I would not recommend it for everyday use as it exfoliates very well. It helps clear pores. Received the package much faster than expected, always good! The first night I tried it I really liked that the pearls don't slip off so you can really exfoliate your skin. Has a pleasant smell. The only thing that bothered me initially was the oily feeling after washing, but after towel drying my face the oily substance seems to have disappeared. I immediately noticed how soft my face was. Great Natural Exfoliating Face Scrub Cleanser. I have used it several times and I immediately saw a big difference. After the first use my face felt so smooth and shiny. All other exfoliating products have not worked for me. They didn't do a deep clean like I wanted. So far I have no complaints and will definitely return again and again.

I prefer the Proactive Exfoliating Scrub as it feels like finer sand. This product has very large pearls. I think they are too big to use on face. When I looked in my 10x magnifying mirror after cleansing and rinsing, there were still hundreds of those beads on my face! I was so surprised how big they were. After a proactive exfoliation my skin looks like smooth glass, after that I just felt like there were marks on it and my face wasn't that smooth anymore. I'll see if I can return the item.

I received this item for the first time last night. I'm glad I read so many reviews and decided to buy it. So many products out there say they exfoliate and/or scrub, but they're not as harsh/gritty as I'd like. That was excellent! My skin was glowing after the first morning application. I can't stop touching my skin! I started with this product, then used my favorite Melaleuca facial cleansing gel and moisturizer and wow! Now I have it in my auto reorder!

This is the only product that really gets rid of blackheads on my nose, allowing me to use other products that go deeper than this product. I'm glad I bought it again, I always remembered it. It will get rid of any superficial blackheads and you will see your pores closing up, but then you will need another product like a liquid scrub to get to the bottom of your pores and get rid of the rest.
