🚗 Skyjacker H7006 Softride Hydro Absorber: Unmatched Performance and Comfort for a Smooth Ride Review

Contrary to what Revain and the manufacturer describe, this will NOT fit my 2011 Ram 1500 Sport 2WD. The lower bracket, size BP4, is about 1/2" " shorter. I bought and used the Sir BP18 Skyjacker mount which worked for me. Once the dampers were installed, the ride felt bouncy as if there were no dampers at all.

It took about 30 minutes to generate shock. The hardest thing is to install the bushings and everything in advance. The boot on the shock doesn't allow it to go through the hole easily, so I had to thread the boot through the coil spring on my '98 Silverado. Overall a great product. Controllability has noticeably improved and my ground clearance is restored. Elevator about 1 inch. Now I will order rear shock absorbers for a complete upgrade.

Partially incorrect description from Skyjacker and Revain website, shock absorbers no problem, bottom mount problem. I have a 2011 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn 2WD, the bottom bracket is too small. The previous reviewer got lucky with purchasing an additional BP18 Skyjacker mount so I contacted Skyjacker directly and spoke to customer service.
