🚗 Softride Hydro Absorber by Skyjacker H7037 Review

The product itself works exactly as it should. I bought two to replace on my Jeep Wrangler JK but only one came with all the parts. I didn't have a top rubber bushing with a metal pin. Sent back a replacement order. Unfortunately, the replacement was also missing the top socket and pin.

I bought this because I needed shock absorbers ready to use. Unfortunately, they were delivered with the bushings and inserts removed. The assembled parts are clearly visible in the photos on the internet and on the box. I don't have the tools to put them together. I have purchased shocks for various purposes in the past including the Skyjacker raise kit. I have NEVER received one unassembled.

I have to keep changing them for the rear of my jeep. The >-< part at the top keeps getting cut off. I have checked whether they are suitable for my application. I have the right bumpers, I haven't been off-road at all. I just drive back and forth across town to work. Not sure if it's just a bad batch or if the quality has gone down, but I've used Skyjacker products on all my previous cars with no problems. I will try again before switching to another manufacturer.
