Very soft, non-sheer, lightweight but mid-weight material so it doesn't fly up on windy days! The dress is sewn quite well, without play, blisters, uneven seams and does not look. My daughter just turned 4 and loves it. She carries it with her. Cannot be carried as it is small. When you put on the bandage, the tiara will slide back and you won't be able to see it. I ordered two sizes of this dress as I wasn't sure if it would fit. My daughter is 8 1/2 but slim and skinny, 50 pounds, 52 inches tall. I ordered 6/7 and 8/9. Size 6/7 fits much better as like the others above the dress is quite roomy. Called. It will still be a little loose on her, but the 8/9 is definitely too big.
