I bought two of these, obsessively cleaned the wall and the tiles they were going to be attached to, and installed them. One of the suction cups just didn't stick! The other three were fine. I couldn't understand! Finally, on closer inspection, I found a microcrack in the tile I was trying to install the suction cup on! Make sure the tile is in perfect condition. I had to move the cup to the next tile a bit but now it works and my daughter has more space for all her groceries.

While the suction is strong - although it feels more sticky than sucking - the rubber is very weak. After two weeks one of the cups just ripped apart for no reason. There was about two pounds of stuff in the basket and one of the rubber washers had come loose from the center piece that held it to the chrome bolt. The instructions tell you to first place the suction cups, measure accurately and mount the suction cup mechanism piece by piece from the wall outwards. Very easy to install - 10 minutes for both caddies. I like metal that is waterproof and dries quickly. It is strong and can withstand quite a bit of weight. I don't overload it, but a bottle of shampoo and conditioner is heavy.
