Good inexpensive tripod.

Inexpensive, heavy, durable. You don't want to carry that around with you. Ideal for studio setups. You have to work very hard to break it.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No power

Nice solid travel tripod.

Well built for a lightweight travel tripod. Dense, no gaps. Seriously, don't waste your time with cheaper "non-brands" because you'll end up returning them and buying the same thing for a few bucks more. Definitely worth the few bucks more.

Pros
  • New
Cons

Light weight, light feel

Looks good. The feel is the same as a liquid head, but fairly light - it slides instead of sticking. Only criticism is that the lever is on the left, which my right-hander doesn't like.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Expensive

This is a cheap but handy tripod. You get what you pay for. I was happy with that until the fold-out-height adjustment lever clicked where the pin went. Clearly bad design. I called the company and since it was still under warranty they wouldn't fix it for free. I would have to pay for a replacement part they would send me, but it would require a special tool (rivet extractor) which I didn't have, so I couldn't fix it myself. I don't think this is a company that stands behind their products and
