🔌 Ultra-Slim SlimLine 2241 Extension Cord - 3 Wire, 8 Foot Length Review

Very good extension cable. The part that goes into the wall is flat and sideways so you can easily place furniture or whatever in front of it without a fork sticking out of the wall. The part for other devices is long with 3 connectors side by side, not the usual front and back extension. It almost looks like a very simplified surge protector. Good buy.

The picture from April 2017 shows 2 sockets on one side and it says so gives each other. The item I received is correctly marked "2241" but both the picture on the box and the item itself have 3 sockets on one side. Apparently the opposite was the case a few years ago. This is a good cable, but only if you want all three sockets on the same side. I didn't do that because where I needed to use it I have an element that covers two outlets that I wanted to place with an outlet on the side.

I am very happy with this extension. It's heavy and doesn't block other outlets, which is very important as there are very few outlets in our old house. It holds three different plugs (2 or 3 prongs) and is 8 feet long. I thought the head looked weird and would be tricky to connect, but it's very easy and stays in place. I will buy a few more. Never write reviews but I can't figure out why this gets 4.7 stars. First, the strip's body is made of hollow plastic, which feels fake, and it has a very thin cord. But the real problem is that the holes aren't deep enough and all the plugs stick out about 1/3 or 1/2 (see picture). That means if you bump into anything, the plugs can just fall out. As you can see in the photo, I received a product where all three sockets are on one side and the main connector is beveled to the left. Plug. The product I received was not the same as in the photo. I have the left side, not the right. and 3 exits on one side and none on the other, not 2 on one side and 1 on the other side. This does not allow me to use it for three items with large connectors due to lack of space. However, I was able to find an alternative use for it in another area. It's advertised as a rectangular plug, but what does that mean? Because "right-angle" plugs don't have a 90-degree angle in the wall outlet, nor do they necessarily angle the cord to the right.
