He chewed it. in beds and furniture

I am raising a large dog long-term while his father is abroad. He's usually a good boy in his cage, but when stressed, chews with him on every bed in the cage. Got a great price on this because it was an "open box" item, but it only lasted 2 weeks before it puckered the seam and pulled out the filling. It's not economically viable for me to replace a large dog bed every 2 weeks, so I guess I'll go back to the old "blanket pile" method of stuffing the bottom of the cage.

Pros
  • Easy to clean - Designed for easy cleaning as needed; Machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle, then dry flat for best results
Cons
  • Frequency

Survived a teething and annoying puppy

After my dog destroyed 2 dog beds I decided to give Mega Ruffs a try. 2 weeks and so far so good! He doesn't seem to want to bite or tear at it and loves to lie on it. I have a Shih Tzu Poodle mix and I ordered a medium/large size, I should have gone smaller but they were out of stock. My only complaint is that it's not very thick and doesn't provide enough support for dogs with joint pain. Great value for money - definitely recommended for small but easily destructive dogs!

Pros
  • MAKES CAGES MORE COMFORTABLE - Encourages pets to make their cage their special resting place; Covers hard floor drawers with plush lining
Cons
  • Damaged

VERY UNHAPPY! The dog tore it up the first day!

Very dissatisfied. My golden stayed in his cage less than two hours, ripped open the corner and pulled out the stuffing. Now it's as useless as the cheap bed I bought at the local pet store. waste of money! *** FOLLOW UP *** I would like to add that the seller, The Wag Dog Boutique, was very understanding and refunded the money immediately. Also, my dog grabbed the bed for the second time, that was the day before I threw it away, and practically destroyed it. (See 2nd photo for the culprit.)…

Pros
  • Virtually Chew-Proof is the perfect choice for those who chew constantly; Heavy duty polyester ripstop fabric and double stitching for a virtually indestructible dog bed
Cons
  • Upgradable

Nothing for chewers! on beds and furniture

Not quite as MegaRuff as I was hoping. On the first day my dog was able to chew through the material and pull out the filling. I still use it, it's getting a little flatter every day with more holes and more padding. Go back to the drawing board to find something really reliable!

Pros
  • Makes drawers more convenient - encourages pets to make their cage their special sanctuary; Covers hard floors with plush lining
Cons
  • Almost OK
