This is a very stable build. There are no light leaks. The frame is very well made and allows the Velcro straps to be pulled very tight.

I got confused somehow. That's good, but it also adds about 5 times the weight of the monitor. The cage is heavy and I doubt how well it will hold up if the hand you are using to attach it to your camera is not strong enough.

Love this cage and hood combo. Finding a lens hood for the Small HD 702 was difficult until I found this part. Like other hoods, the hood can be attached easily and without Velcro. The cage is also good with lots of attachment points, a bit heavy but not too bad.
