One of the best cages I have ever had

I love that this cage has its own L key that is magnetized to stay in place. Very useful when you're on the go and don't need tools. Very easy to set up and very durable. There's plenty of room for expansion and I personally love how the cage adds to the feel of the camera. almost as if it added a more comfortable camera grip. The only negative thing I see with the cage is that it protects the camera 100%, some areas protrude more than others or line up at the edges. This in no way violates the

4K/6K base!

if you look. pause and buy it now! I have three BMD cameras and each one has this accessory cage. The attachment points for the rigging options are amazing. I'm glad the price is low because the accessories that can be installed tend to add up. First, grab the SSD holder and the top handle. After that, the world is yours. but you need this cage to get the most out of the camera system (in my opinion). You can add hand grips, articulated arms, cable clamps, hot shoe mounts (microphones…

I love SmallRig products but I was really surprised at how much I liked this cage. I was looking for another more expensive brand but settled on this one due to the form factor and mounting points. Cells aren't always meant to be handheld with a camera, but it actually improves the experience a lot. And in my opinion this is the *best* way if you want to install BMPCC4K on a gimbal. (The camera doesn't have the best anti-rotation options, and this solves all of those problems). I wish they made

I liked it a lot better than I expected.

I bought this so I had something cheap to protect my BMPCC4K while waiting for Tilta. But when I put it in front of the camera, I liked it. It's lightweight and has NATO rails for my old small rig's handles, making the Pocket much more comfortable to hold. Sounds silly, but BMPCC4k is a bit awkward for me. I didn't really like the design. But the cage adds a slight edge to both sides of the camera and seems to balance it out. It is very cheap (price) compared to all others, fits well, feels…

Works as advertised

Firstly, if you are interested in buying a BMPCC 4k cage, the answer is 100% YES. You need to set up this camera to use its crazy features. Either way, this cage does exactly what a cage is meant to do - allows for dozens of accessory configurations thanks to multiple screw mounts and cold shoes, while maintaining access to the camera's main ports. Do you want to fully customize your camera for professional shooting? Did! Need an understated look that still fits in your camera bag? Ready! There

Nice cage but there are better options

We're reviewing one of the most popular accessories for Blackmagic 5k pocket cine cameras and as far as I know it's the Smallrig Cage 2203 and we'll be reviewing others as well Accessories and see how you can put the setup together yourself. So let's start with the cage itself, it's really well made out of durable material, it's one of the larger cages compared to the smaller mirrorless option and you can see the mounting holes all over the place and we'll also be looking at each side in turn…

  • Nice to use
