Love small rig, they did a great job on that too. I love that the cage attaches to the bottom with both sizes of screws. This allows me to use 2 screws on the quick release plate so the camera doesn't rotate even when I attach large screens and mics to it.

I ordered this cage for my Panasonic GH5 and it fits as expected. The power button fits snugly in the cage and you need to turn the camera on and off. Now I can install a wireless microphone, lights and other accessories on the GH5 with this cage.

I've been using this line for a long time. When I switched from my GH3 to the GH5, I only went with this small cage. Stable, with plenty of attachment points to which I've attached grips, mics, lights, mounts, and monitors. The screw hole threads are well-made, and the anodized powder coating is durable and not easy to be scratched. The camera fits tightly inside and does not come off easily. Worth every penny

I ran this thing on Atomos Ninja Flames (2 970 batteries attached), field recorder, 2 USB battery packs, magic handheld mic and headphone hook, not even a bit of flex. Plenty of mounting points in 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 sizes The shape is just right for me to comfortably hold the camera in the cage (I have big hands). Light enough not to be obnoxious, I don't even bother to get the GH5 out of the cage. It's totally worth buying.

I like Smallrig products in general but for some reason my cage is ALWAYS loose. I tried to keep it in place by putting a rubber material between the bottom screw and the camera body and placing a small wedge of cardboard where the front of the body meets a small non-slip ridge, but over the course of a day of shooting I found that will sometimes have to readjust this cage 4 or 5 times. Very annoying. I'm not sure if I just got a bad block or if it's someone else's problem.

I used half of the cage I assembled from SmallRig parts. I had a tall support bar so I could raise the top panel. This allowed me to use the quick release plate on the camera, as I often took it out of the cage to take pictures. However, I now have a separate camera so the GH5 can stay in the cage at all times. Great design of this cage. What worried me the most was the packaging. This cage fits perfectly. It doesn't fit snugly to the body and I wouldn't want that as it can cause damage or wear to the body over time. All dials are present, as well as all connections and doors. There are also mounts to support the Metabones which is a huge plus! The extra mounting options on the side and top give me the ability to mount this quite nicely.
