I'm not sure what the designers were thinking, but this holder is incredibly wobbly, even when used with lightweight microphones. But judging by the build quality, you'd think it could handle a lot of weight. The problem is the small pieces of rubber that the mount sits on. This is the only thing that separates the mount from the hot shoe adapter. Any mic you put in this thing will cause the plastic to bend, and because it's so thin it bends a lot.
